Day 1 |
On arrival at
Calicut you will be received at the Airport
/ Railway Station; check in at Hotel Malabar
Palace. After lunch, a sightseeing tour of
Calicut which includes Kappad Beach, where
Vasco da Gama first landed in India, Beypore
Wooden Boat Building Yard. Overnight stay at
the resort. |

After breakfast
you will be taken on a city tour of Calicut.
You will be visiting the Pazhassiraja
Museum,
the Art Gallery, the Krishna Menon Museum

you will be driven to Wayanad. Check in at
Vythiri Resort. During the 2 days here, you
will
be taken on a sightseeing tour of Wayanad

driven to Kochi. Check in at Hotel Avenue

Palace, the 16th century Jewish Synagogue

Gama was buried. Walk around the Fort Cochin
area. You can see the Chinese Fishing Nets
here.The afternoon would be spent at
leisure. In the evening, you can watch a
Kathakali Dance show.Stay overnight at the

After Breakfast
you will be taken to Munnar, a scenic hill
station situated 1,600 meters above sea
level.

gardens, colonial towns, Mattupetty lake and
Echo Point.

In the afternoon
check into the Coir Village backwater resort
near Alleppey. You can go for a village tour
in the afternoon. During the two days in
Kumarakom and Alleppey, you will meet people
engaged in country boat
building, prawn cultivation, sand mining,
limestone collection, rice farming, duck
rearing, coir making units etc.
You can opt for an ayurvedic treatment also.

driven to Kasaragod, the northern-most
district of Kerala,known for its Coir and
Handloom Industries. Visit the 300
year old Bekal Fort, one of the largest and
best preserved forts in Kerala. This

above sea level and stands on a 35 acre
headland that runs into the Arabian Sea. You
can also visit Ananthapura Lake Temple (the
only lake temple in Kerala ),the Bekal
beach,Chandragiri(a chain of forts).You can
have a breathtaking view of the Arabian sea
and watch the sunset

by local guides and porters. The trek is
likely to take about 4-6 hours. Arrive at
Meenar camp by nightfall. Pitch tents and
camp for the night. |

trek commences towards Chenthamara Kokka.
Reach in time for lunch. Rest. In the

trek to sunset point. Return to camp by
